As a child, my great aunt, Jean Landis, had a dream of learning to fly. Not so easy in the 1920s. She would become a WASP, Women Air Force Service Pilot, and one of the unsung heroes of WWII. This documentary short tells her story and the story of these brave women who sacrificed everything to fly for the Army, but were quietly and unceremoniously disbanded when their country needed them most.

During WWII, the WASPs flew over 60 million miles. This is one woman’s story of achieving her dream.
